Open conversations with the teams who need AI shipped, and turn a first call into a scoped first build.
About the role
You are the first person many of our clients meet. You will run inbound and outbound conversations for an AI development company that sells outcomes, not hours, qualify what a team actually needs, and hand a clean, well-scoped brief to the senior engineer who will own the build. This is a consultative role: the clients are technical, and the win is a project that ships, not a logo on a slide.
What you will do
- Run discovery calls with founders, product leaders and engineering managers, and translate a vague AI idea into a concrete first build.
- Qualify hard and early on budget, timeline and the production constraints that matter, so the pipeline that reaches delivery is real.
- Write the first scope with a senior engineer, including the five production numbers a system has to hit, before anything is promised.
- Own your pipeline in the CRM end to end, from first touch to signed statement of work, with clean notes the delivery pod can act on.
- Build outbound sequences and partnerships that bring in the kind of work our bench does best: AI that has to reach production.
- Feed the marketing and method teams the objections and language you hear, so the site and the pitch keep matching reality.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 5 years in B2B business development, inside sales or consulting, ideally selling software services or a technical product.
- A track record of carrying a pipeline number and a genuine comfort talking to technical buyers without overpromising.
- Clear written English: you can turn a messy call into a one-page brief an engineer respects.
- Disciplined CRM habits and a real feel for qualification, you would rather lose a bad-fit deal early than drag it through delivery.
- Comfort working US client hours when a conversation needs it, from our Noida delivery center.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI, machine learning or data products, even just enough to hold a credible first conversation.
- Experience with HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A network in SaaS, healthcare or fintech, the lanes our delivery team knows best.
