How fast can a senior engineer start?

Under two weeks from the Discovery Call in most cases. Discovery and a Skills Match run in week one, a paid Pilot Week starts in week two, and the engineer is embedded by week three. A tighter start is possible when the role profile is a clean match to an engineer already off-rotation.

What seniority do you offer?

Senior engineers with five or more years by default, with principal-level placement available for architecture-heavy roles. Mid-level engineers ship inside a pod led by a senior; we do not place mid-level engineers as solo embeds. Each role page names the seniority profile for that lane.

How are engineers assessed?

Against your stack, not a generic rubric. The Skills Match runs the candidate through a representative slice of your codebase, your eval bar if the work is AI-flavored, and your delivery cadence. The Pilot Week extends that into actual paid work on a scoped deliverable, so fit is confirmed before any multi-month commitment.

What does it cost to hire a dedicated developer?

It depends on the engagement model and the seniority you need. A dedicated engineer is priced per month, and the all-in rate typically lands about 70% below comparable onshore hires once benefits, bench time, and recruiting overhead are counted. Time and materials is billed hourly, and a dedicated pod is quoted as a team. Each role page and staff augmentation carry the detail.

How does the named-engineer process work?

During the Discovery Call or Skills Match we name the senior engineer who will lead the engagement. You meet them on a screen-shared call, see their work history, and can decline the match. The engineer named is the engineer who embeds, with no swap at week one. This is routine practice on every Resourcifi engagement.

What about IP and confidentiality?

All work product is yours under a work-for-hire clause in the master agreement. An NDA is executed at the Discovery Call, and every engineer clears a background check before placement. Compliance overlays for regulated industries, such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2, ride on the role-page tool roster.

What is the difference between hiring here and staff augmentation?
