DEMA SmartTech: one platform for 120K+ connected devices
Resourcifi built DEMA Engineering an IoT mobile and web platform that centralizes monitoring, control, and reporting for the connected chemical dispensing equipment the company manufactures.
Multi-phase build with continuous delivery cycles.
The challenge
What DEMA SmartTech needed to solve.
DEMA Engineering manufactures chemical proportioners, injectors, and dispensers used in food service, warewash, laundry, dairy, and car wash operations. As that equipment became connected, operations teams had no unified way to see devices, consumption, alarms, and performance across distributed facilities. That gap made consistent reliability and data-driven decisions hard to deliver at scale.
Goals
Centralize visibility across thousands of connected dispensers, pumps, and sensors
Cut manual monitoring effort across plants and customer sites
Standardize device, facility, and user management across regions
Give multi-tenant deployments secure, role-based access
The solution
The platform holds a standard that an operator can trust a remote reading the same way they trust a gauge on the equipment in front of them.
What we built
The DEMA SmartTech build, screen by screen.
01 · Live equipment dashboard
Live equipment state, read at a glance
The home screen surfaces a connected unit's live readings, rack count, wash and rinse temperatures, set points, and trigger states, so an operator reads current conditions without walking the floor.

02 · Equipment selector
Every connected unit, one tap away
Operators move from a site overview into a single device, picking a unit like Pinnacle, Lab CMA Door, or Lab Conveyor to drill into its live state and controls.
